Looking at legislation which includes the Data Protection Act 1998, The Human Rights Act 1998, Investigatory Powers Act 2000 and The Telecommunications Lawful Business Practice Interception of Communication Regulations, the paper shows the broad range law that needs to be considered and then looks at the importance of incident response.
